Join us for an unforgettable evening of history, performance, and community as part of the 250th America commemoration! Featuring:
Brookside Farm Museum commemorates America250 by presenting Evening at the Museum: The American Revolution. The Historian, artist, and storyteller Tammy Denease is bringing a powerful woman of early Connecticut to life through vivid storytelling and historical interpretation, as Clo Pratt in Life After Slavery. Pratt was a Black woman living in Wethersfield during the American Revolution. You’ll meet known and unknown heroes who not only fought for freedom from King George, but also from some of the founding fathers.
Enjoy wine, cheese, and snacks for kids by donation, plus hands-on colonial activities like the traditional game Graces between performances. Tickets are $10 per person or pay what you can. Children 12 and under are free.
