Join us for an unforgettable evening of history, performance, and community as part of the 250th America commemoration! Featuring:

Brookside Farm Museum commemorates America250 by presenting The American Revolution Program An Evening at the Museum. The Historian, artist, and storyteller Tammy Denease is bringing a powerful woman of early Connecticut to life through vivid storytelling and historical interpretation, as Clo Pratt in Life After Slavery. Pratt was a Black woman living in Wethersfield during the American Revolution. You’ll meet known and unknown heroes who not only fought for freedom from King George, but also from some of the founding fathers.


Andre Keitt as William “Billy” Lee, the man enslaved by George Washington and whose story reveals new perspectives on the American Revolution and the lives of those who made it possible.


Enjoy wine, cheese and snacks for kids will be served by donation, plus hands-on colonial activities like the traditional game Graces between performances.…
